The Forest City Area Rotary Club consists of members from Forest City, Browndale, Clifford Township, Waymart, Carbondale, and Honesdale. Throughout the year the Forest City Area Rotary Club runs many fundraisers to raise funds for our annual projects. In addition, our club provides scholarships, awards, and dictionaries to our area schools, Forest City Regional School District, Mountain View School District, Sacred Heart Elementary, Fell Charter School, Carbondale Area School District, and Western Wayne School District. Above is a service project dedicated to the Anthracite Coal Miners of the area, the Forest City Rotary Club raised over $110,000 to create a monument which can be seen off Route 247 (Main Street, Forest City, PA).
